With nearly 100 years of drive, perseverance, success and five generations….

Started in the early 1900’s by the family’s Great Great grandfather, Regal is rich in history within the Chicagoland area. Known then as Albert Miller & Co. the business flourished as a potato processor and packager.

Fast forward to the 1940’s the next generation of potato processors comes along. our great grandfather, one of 7 children , joins the family business. Our great grandfather continued in his fathers footsteps growing the organization into what would then be called Miller Pre-Pared Potatoes, a well known and highly respected firm located in Blue Island, Illinois. The business continued to grow and evolve, eventually delivering their brand business to business, door to door.

In the early 1960’s the next generation comes into the picture. The third generation potato packager starts out in the business delivering our products from our company trucks (Shown Below: Our grandfather, and grandmother in the passenger seat). He continued to work within the organization in both delivery and sales. Eventually taking over his fathers company.

Come the 1990’s our grandfather decided to shift the business to co-packing and started with the name Regal Pre-Pared Foods. Regal continued to grow in the Chicagoland area and throughout the United States servicing many company’s and institutions. During this time our SideLiner brand was created, Our Grandfather worked in the Co-Packaging industry for many years until he finally decided to retire and sell the company to our father.

Starting out the turn of the century the fourth generation begins in the industry under our previous and current name Regal Pre-Pared Foods. Continuing on our grandfathers path, our father continued to grow our market share across North America. Through hard work and perseverance Regal has further cemented itself in the Co-Packaging, Re-Packaging, and Potato Supply industry and has become a symbol of quality and excellence for it’s customers.

With this, Regal will continue to flourish with the fifth generation.
